What am I required to do if I sign up to participate?
The only commitment you are making when you sign up to our email list, is that you are willing to receive our emails to your mailbox.
We encourage you to use our recommended texts to guide your own prayers, and to share them with others. However, you are not making a commitment to do so.
There are many ways to share these prayers with others in your community. You can:
- share prayers during worship services;
- hold small group prayer gatherings;
- post them on social media;
- send a prayer in the community newsletter;
- create prayer cards;
- organize a dedicated prayer night;
- and more.
Have any ideas that aren’t listed here? Send us a message and let us know, so we can add it to our list!
How often do you send out emails?
We aim to send an email once a week, containing any new prayers received during that week. In the event of an urgent matter requiring prayers, we may send out a one-time email with a special prayer request.
You can expect to receive about 4 emails from us in a typical month. We will not send more than 6 emails a month.
Are you raising money?
No, we do not request or accept donations, nor will we use our email list to request donations for others. “Pray for Ukraine” is entirely volunteer-driven, created and maintained with the time and resources generously donated by our volunteer team.
Is this a political project?
No, this is not a political project. “Pray for Ukraine” is a faith-based initiative focused solely on fostering connections through prayer and support. Our mission is to unite people of faith in Ukraine and the USA, providing spiritual solidarity and encouragement without any political affiliations or agendas.
